Terms for using Loupe, its honest value information, and Loupe Pro subscriptions.
What Loupe Is
Loupe is a tool to identify collectible cards and track your collection. Identification runs on your device. For a scanned card, Loupe shows value information based on realized sold-price data, presented as a low/median/high band with the number of sales behind it, or an honest "not enough sold data" when there isn't enough to be fair. Loupe is not a marketplace, does not process payments, and does not buy or sell cards.
Honest Values, Not Promises
Value bands and estimates are informational references, not offers, appraisals, or promises. Prices are labeled with their source and sample size; below three recent sales, Loupe abstains and shows no number rather than inventing one. Loupe does not promise that a card will sell for any shown figure. Loupe does not grade cards, does not confirm that a card is genuine, and does not assign a condition or grade to your card. Where an existing grade appears, it is reported as a fact from the sale record (for example, "PSA 10 sold for X"), never a claim Loupe makes about your card. Estimates that are not based on sold data are labeled as estimates and never described as sold prices.
Reporting Sales
If you choose to report a sale, report it truthfully. Submitting false or manipulated sale reports to distort community price data is prohibited and may result in your reports being excluded and your account restricted.
Loupe Pro Subscriptions
Loupe Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered through Apple In-App Purchase: Loupe Pro Monthly ($9.99/month) and Loupe Pro Annual ($59.99/year, with a 14-day free trial). Pro unlocks depth only — an unlimited collection, price alerts, full price history, cost basis and analytics, bulk scan and export, and watermark-free share cards. It never gates scanning, honest value lookups, the abstain behavior, or your existing cards, which are always free. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased. Family Sharing is not enabled. All purchases go through Apple's In-App Purchase system only.
Trademarks and Independence
Loupe is an independent tool for collectors. It is not made by, associated with, or connected to Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or Wizards of the Coast, and is not sponsored or approved by them or by any grading company. Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering are trademarks of their respective owners; Loupe references them only to describe which cards it works with.
As-Is; Limitation of Liability
Loupe is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from a buying or selling decision made in reliance on value information shown in the app. Value information is a reference, and the decision to buy or sell is solely yours. By using Loupe you accept these terms.
